Creating a Recurring Project
Creating a Recurring Project is done in the same way as creating a One-Time Project via the Projects section -> Add New Project:
In the project creation form, switch to Recurring Project:
The Recurring Project will then modify part of the form.
Differences Compared to a One-Time Project:
Project Name
The project name will be supplemented with the recurrence frequency.
So if you name the project Internal Meetings, the name of each individual project will be:
For monthly frequency, it will be supplemented with the month and year, resulting in Internal Meetings 8/2024.
For quarterly frequency, it will be supplemented with the quarter number and year, resulting in Internal Meetings Q1 2024.
For annual frequency, it will be supplemented with the year, resulting in Internal Meetings 2024.
1. Setting the Project Recurrence Frequency
In this section, you set three pieces of information:
Start From Date
The date when the project instance will be created—until then, the project will not be available among running projects.
Stop recurring at a specific day
By checking this box, you can enter an End Date—upon filling in this date, the last project will be generated on this date.
Frequency
Here, choose the frequency at which you want to create a new project.
2. What Should Happen After the Period Ends
In the next field, we choose what happens when the project ends.
