Creating a Project by Duplication

You can create a new project by duplicating an existing one. In this article, we'll show you how.

Then, a yellow bar will appear under the Add New Project menu—click on the Duplicate Project? button.

In the following window, choose the project you'd like to use as your starting point.

Next, decide which information you want to keep in the new project.

Once you click on Start Duplicating, all the selected data will be pre-filled. You can then freely modify the fields, just as you would when creating or editing a project.

Creating a Project

We'll start with a simple, one-time project where we'll bill the client for the actual hours worked (also known as a Timesheet).

Auto ID

Auto ID is used to assign IDs to projects automatically—thanks to this, you'll always have a clear and unique identifier for each project.
