Auto ID
Auto ID is used to assign IDs to projects automatically—thanks to this, you'll always have a clear and unique identifier for each project.
How to Add Auto ID
When creating or editing a project, you can check the AUTO ID box.
AUTO ID
This will automatically fill in the project ID.
The format is:
{YEAR}{five-digit numerical series}
For example, 2400001
- if you create your first project with AUTO ID in the year 2024.
Automatic Use of Auto ID
If you check Use Generated Project IDs in the Company Settings, the AUTO ID checkbox in project creation will be automatically selected. If you want to use AUTO ID, this feature helps your entire company remember to use the AUTO ID option.
