Activating / Deactivating a Person
Every newly added person is automatically active. Active persons can track time, be added to budgets, and generally have access to our company in Costlocker.
If the person is no longer working with us and we don't want them to have access to our company, we simply deactivate them. We can reactivate the person at any time in the future, thereby restoring their access.
How to deactivate a person?
In the People tab, open the details of the person you want to deactivate. Then, in the top right corner, click the Deactivate Person button. Confirm your choice in the dialog box.
When you deactivate a person, the number of users in your subscription is automatically reduced. The unused prepaid period for the person will be deducted from the next invoice.
Once you deactivate a person, don't forget to remove them from the recurring project templates they were assigned to!
How to activate a person?
In the People tab, select the Inactive Persons view.
Select the person you want to reactivate and open their details.
In the person's details, click on the Re-activate Person button.
