If you’ve been using Toggl or another time tracking app and don’t want to lose your data, you can easily import them to Costlocker using its API. All you need is a developer.
Toggl to Costlocker transition
There are two ways to start using Costlocker if you’ve been using Toggl so far:
- Import all your clients, projects, people and their timesheets to save time and start using Costlocker immediately.
- Keep tracking your time in Toggl and import the timesheets once a week to see the profitability of projects, clients and employees.
Importing clients, projects and people from other applications
Even if you have a CRM system with data about your clients, projects and people (including salaries and client rates), it’s not a problem to import them to Costlocker. You can even use the API to define Costlocker roles and access levels during the import.
How it works
Send your developer a link to our tech blog, where they’ll find all the information they need for successful Costlocker integration.
Besides that, your developer is going to need an API token to your account. You can generate the token yourself by clicking your name in the upper right corner of the application screen. Next, click Settings and then the API tab – https://new.costlocker.com/settings/api.
Finally, copy the API token and send it to the developer.
