If there’s a developer on your team, they can use the Costlocker API to create a report that scans your data, exports it to Excel and shows you which of your employees earned their salary in any particular month.

This report was originally created for our digital agency 2FRESH, but we decided to share it with others on our dev web.

How it works

The report checks how much you invoiced for the work of every single person across all of the projects in every month. That value gets compared to their salary and comes out either in the red or in the black.

To generate this report properly, your project cost estimates need to be based on estimated hours and hourly rates that you charge for the roles / activities of your employees (e.g. project management, analysis, design, etc.).
